Miguel

master stylist / director

Born and trained in the south of Andalusia, our Berlin director and master hairstylist Miguel started his career in 2000 followed by 8 years in London where he gained experience in many salons incl. ESHK and catwalk shows (LFW). Miguel specialises in short hair and loves working with curls. He has combined this love with electronic music, producing and releasing his own material. After moving to Berlin he joined forces with Meg & Fernando opening ESHK Berlin, bringing hair & music together in the up and coming areas of Neukölln and Moabit.

Sophia

master stylist / colourist

Meet Sophia, master hairstylist at ESHK Friseur Moabit. Sophia started her hairdressing career over a decade ago in Seoul. Wanting to gain more experience and up her skills she decided to move to Sydney, Australia. Here she trained and qualified at the Toni & Guy Academy, followed by 8 years at a salon located in the heart of Sidney’s city center. Her next adventure is Berlin where she is looking forward to find inspiration and to create new looks for her customers to help them express their personalities.

Jacko

master stylist

Meet Jacko, our master hairstylist at ESHK Moabit. Depending on who you ask, Jacko Joao aka X.E.N is a hairstylist / Barber / DJ / hair scissors specialist / dance music producer.

For the past 20 years he has been combining his love for hairdressing with a music career
which all started in 2000 in Hong Kong. Working at established hair salons, Jacko got involved in movies, fashion shows, hair shows and photo shoots. All after which you’d find him spending his nights spinning records in clubs and touring Asia. 2019 saw him add a new chapter to his life by moving to Berlin and joining the ESHK family.

Jacko’s skills mean he’s able to work with various hairstyles in both contemporary and classic settings. Combining different hair cutting techniques, he delves into his experience ranging from Western structuralism to Japanese-influenced texturising techniques to classic American barber fade cut techniques. You’ll always find a certain perfectionism to Jacko’s work, his approach is innovative and unique, sculpting hair with his own design hair scissors to provide solid and flawless haircuts.

Rocky

master stylist

Rocky, master hairstylist at our Moabit hair salon, is a seasoned hairdresser whose hair journey spans internationally across many facets of hair. His experiences intertwine between Fashion Week shows, editorial work, and hair industry presentations.

His approach is rooted in the belief that hair is not just a style, but an extension of one’s identity. In a world filled with trends and noise, Rocky quietly stands out for his commitment to authenticity, making every snip a true expression of individuality.

Combining precise handwork with a soft textured feel, his haircuts evolve with character and grow out well. Rocky shares a special affinity for textured (wavy/curly) hair.

Louisa

For Louisa, hairstylist / colourist in Moabit, hairstyling is more than just a skill—it’s a language. It’s a way to reshape, redefine, and re-imagine identity. Louisa has always been drawn to experimentation, using hair as a tool to play with texture, shape, and bold, unexpected colors. Juliana

Meet Juliana, hairstylist and colourist at ESHK Moabit. With a background in Fine Arts, she approaches hair with structure and intention. She specializes in precision cutting and high-level color work, with a strong focus on clean blondes, controlled lightening, and bold full transformations. Her work reinterprets Latin identity within Berlin’s alternative scene, elevating street-driven aesthetics into a refined, contemporary expression.

Manju

stylist

Manju, Japanese hairstylist at our Berlin salon, worked for 9 years at a long-established salon in Omotesando, Tokyo, where he gained solid experience in both salon work and editorial/fashion shoots. His strength lies in expressing not only hair, but also styling, makeup, and photography as a whole. Manju had a stint at our Toronto salon and is now available to our wonderful Berlin clients.

He specializes in men’s cuts, short styles, bobs, and wolf cuts, focusing on designs that highlight each person’s bone structure, hair texture, and presence — creating styles that feel true to them, beyond simply following trends.

Sim

Sim, hairstylist at our Moabit salon, has an impressive 12 years of experience under her belt. She honed her skills working in trend-forward salons around Melbourne. From style cutting, to blended balayage and creative colour, Sim has a vast array of specialities she can bring to our wonderful clients. Outside of the salon environment she has styled hair for runways and photoshoots. Her passion for music, as producer and DJ, is all driven by a deep love for creativity in all its forms.
