stylist / colouristChris, hairstylist and colourist at our Shoreditch salon, has been hairdressing for 30 years. Trained in one of London’s leading salons, he was an educator in their art team and has been nominated for London hairdresser of the year at the British Hairdressing Awards. This led him to be a session hairdresser for 10 years, doing editorials for magazines such as Vogue and Elle and doing advertising campaigns as the lead hairstylist on shows such as Burberry, Topshop, and Mango, to name a few. He has also worked in the music industry, working with artists such as Goldfrapp. These days, he’s happy working in the salon.
He specialises in soft, natural, wearable hair. He can tackle most textures, from short to long, straight to curly. Thick to fine. Our self-employed stylist Chris loves doing natural highlights and seamless balayage. Hair is not easy! As you have to never lose sight, there is a person wearing the hair, so consultation is paramount to ensuring success. It is important for him that the client is happy. With a strong empathic nature, for Chris client comfort is essential.
